Traveling out of town for Independence Day weekend? You’re in for a good treat as the national gas prices stay around an all-time low for the year at $2.26 per gallon. February of this year was the last time the price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was this low nationally.
According to auto club AAA, 37.5 million Americans will drive to their holiday destination during this Independence Day weekend. The price of gas has fallen for 24 consecutive days. Driver should continue to enjoy the low gas price due to record refinery rates and high gasoline production.
As the gas prices were the cheapest since 2005 Independence Day, President Donald Trump touted record-low gas prices and expressed hope that they keep dropping further to benefit the consumers.
Gas prices are the lowest in the U.S. in over ten years! I would like to see them go even lower.
