I graduated from University of Alabama in May 2005 with total debts of $55,403 after four years of study for my Bachelor’s degree and three additional years for my Master’s degree. Immediately I went on to my first salaried job in the real world to pursue my own financial freedom. Here are the student loan debts that I have accrued from undergraduate and graduate study:
- Subsidized student loan: $38,219.65 (1.875% fixed interest rate)
- Unsubsidized student loan: $8,497.19 (2.875% fixed interest rate)
Total debts, including the above $46,716.84 student loans and credit card debts, were $55,403.
