We draw down $80,000 from the equity of the house that we are selling in preparation of closing on our new semi-retirement home in Florida. Once we sell the house, we will put the whole cash amount toward the new mortgage. Our new goal is to completely pay off the mortgage of the new house that we are relocating to within five years.
