Net Worth Report for May 2014

This is the eighth straight month that our net worth has been increased by over $10,000. If this pace keeps up, I will likely be a millionaire by the time I’m 40 years old. However, most likely this trend is going to end sometime in the summer when I will take extra long days off from work.

We went ahead and put even more liquid cash into the mortgage to accelerate the pay off date. It is a short-term risk as our emergency fund dips below the 6 months of expense level. From now on until early next year, we will concentrate on building up our cash reserve.
