Net Worth Report for November 2012

Net Worth Report for November 2012
Net Worth Report for November 2012: $265,410

I stumble upon one hidden rule of corporate world: Squeaky wheels get oiled far more often than silent ones. So, I squeak up. After years of seeing colleagues with similar qualifications getting promotions, I finally asked for the promotion and I got it. That means I essentially got a 15% raise!

Of course, if I want more income per year I can always choose to work more than half a year, but that is not the point. Life is short and time is a limited resource for each and every human being. The key is to push yourself to the spot where you can earn a good salary, and then see how much you can cut back in terms of time and still maintain that level of salary, prestige and productivity. Then all the extra time that you gain you can spend it with your loved ones.
