Net Worth Report for August 2015

Net Worth Report for August 2015
Net Worth Report for August 2015: $637,100

Finally, I pull the trigger and pay off $6,239 car loan even though it has a very low rate of 1.49%. Our next target for debt reduction is the student loan.

On Zillow, primary home is valued at $267,180 and second house is valued at $140,155. However, we only use conservative estimate for their values in our net worth: $238,900 for primary home and $104,355 for second house.

On the expense front, we have committed to upgrade our kitchen with high-end volcano granite imported from Brazil. The total cost to remove counter top, to buy new granite with fancy edge, to put back electrical outlets and plumbing, and to install new faucet is $3870. In additional we still need to spend another $1500 on the second phase of the kitchen upgrade for the new faucet, the wall tiles and labor.
