New year comes with a new milestone: Our investment and retirement accounts finally hit six figures for the first time ever. Also, the investment accounts are larger than the mortgage that we owed for the first time.
One set back is that we are slipping behind on our mortgage prepayment plan by overpaying every month. Currently, I’m contributing to 2012 Roth fund so the mortgage prepayment has to wait. We still plan to get rid of our mortgage within five years though.
