Net Worth Report for August 2011

Net Worth Report for August 2011
Net Worth Report for August 2011: $180,130

As planned earlier in the year, our family takes a week-long vacation to Disney World and to visit relatives in August. We already budgeted and saved for the trip in previous month so our net worth does not take a big hit. On the other hand, our investment has been hit by the bear market and lost some values, but it is expected in any long-term investing cycle. We are happily staying the course for a foreseeable future.

We also accelerate the mortgage payment to reach our goal of paying off the entire mortgage within five years, provided that we still live in the same house until December 2015 at least.
