Net Worth Report for February 2014

Net Worth Report for February 2014
Net Worth Report for February 2014: $371,928

This is the fifth straight month that our net worth has been increased by more than $10,000. The good time will end eventually, but I hope the trend continues for a bit longer.

As we don’t like to keep a lot of cash without any purpose other than emergency fund, we dump this extra fund toward mortgage. As a result, we are well on track to have it pay off by 2018 or earlier.

Finally, our investment portfolio finally surpasses our home value. Now it’s our biggest asset. At this rate, our investment portfolio will be the biggest single asset for foreseeable future until we spend it down in our very old ages during retirement or some unthinkable emergency unfortunately occurs.
